We Are Youth Mentors offers structured experience placements for individuals who want to build knowledge and skills in the youth mentoring sector. You will work alongside our team and experienced practitioners in a supported, professional environment.
This is a voluntary, unpaid opportunity. We aim to provide a high-quality learning experience that gives you a genuine insight into professional youth mentoring practice.

Contributing to programme planning and delivery

Requirements
- • Enhanced DBS check required before starting
- • Right to work / volunteer in the UK
- • Commitment to a minimum placement period (typically 4–8 weeks)
- • Attendance at a safeguarding awareness session
